Fencing Clubs in Essex

An established BFA-affiliated fencing club meeting weekly with coaching and equipment provided free of charge to members. First two 'taster' lessons are free. The coach is a former member of the Czech national team. Members range from around nine years old to their 70s and the club will support those who wish to participate in competitions. Sessions are held on Mondays and Wednesdays. The venue is ten minutes walk from Debden tube station on the Central Line.

Highams Park Fencing Club, a local club for anyone wanting to experience the sport of fencing. Formed by a group of keen amateurs, the club offers a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with a wide age group from 7-65 years of age, and with professional tuition for fencers of all levels by qualified instructors. Students have the opportunity to attain proficiency standards, as recognised by the British Fencing Association or the British Academy of Fencing.
