The CFA is the BFA Eastern Region association of fencing clubs in Cambridgeshire whose purpose is to promote fencing in Cambridgeshire.
Originally set up as a breakaway from an Equity-only fencing club, it now welcomes members from beyond the acting profession. From time to time well-known actors still attend to brush up their swordfighting skills prior to filming or stage work. Based in Westminster, we have one of the best fencing venues in London, offering a large modern sprung-floor gym, showers and changing rooms.
Stowmarket Fencing Club is an organisation based in Suffolk, England. We have have been running since April 1998 and have been well supported by good coaching and enthusiastic members. Our head coach is Mr Steven Morley, a patient teacher that is willing to help you with any fencing problem you might have, whether it be advice on kit or a one-to-one lesson to correct something. He has been involved in fencing for many years and has been an invaluable asset to the club.
Stourbridge Fencing Club
We are one of the most vibrant and successful sports clubs at the university, and one of the best student fencing clubs in Scotland. Our membership comprises both very experienced fencers and complete beginners. The Fencing Club has been selected to be part of the University's Performance Sport programme, which allows us to offer even better training to our members including regular individual lessons from a professional coach.
The club caters for foil, epee and sabre, and we can supply appropriate equipment and protective clothing for men, women and children over 12. All you will need to bring is appropriate sports-hall footwear, such as training shoes.
